biographyThe upcoming of a rising star Akeda Jones. This star was born April 17, 1996 in Seattle, WA. From a young age Akeda was never one to fit in she always was the one to be noticed even when not trying to be. Just something about her ambition and drive towards everything she did turn heads and stopped hearts. Akeda began rapping at the age of 7 years old, simply because the boys told her since she was a girl she couldn't, little did she know that was the start of her career. Everyday she wrote little rhymes and threw them at the boys and within a week or two she was the head - honcho of the rap game at Martin Luther King Elementary School. For when she got up in age around 11 or 12 she stopped rapping and was more focused on dancing - another gift she was blessed with. She started rapping again when she got into the 7th grade just for fun. She did her first rap performance at her school talent show but no one really paid any attention to her. She hated the feeling of not being heard so she told her self from that day forward she would demand the respect she deserved and wouldn't stop until she got it. In February of 2011 she got involved in a program at her school community center called "Produce Her" teaching young ladies how to not only produce their own music, but grow up in a society where the rap game is dominated by men. In March 2011 Akeda dropped her first single "So Official" and it was a hit through out her high school. She performed the single at a Japan Relief benefit concert and she got lots of positive feedback and her career started to take off. She started doing Open Mic nights at the University of Washington where the single went viral.. As of March 2013, she has released two mixtape's "Consider It Done" & "The Sound Check", gotten thousands of hits on her official music video for her single "I'm On" & performed for legends like Kurtis Blow, Susan L. Taylor, Macklemore and the list continues. Ksneak will soon be on top. Watch her work.
